First of all: Merry Christmas! I know we’re already closer to New Year’s Eve, but when you’re travelling and dependent on internet cafes for communication, you sometimes can’t find a working internet place when you want to send Christmas greetings.

I spent Christmas in Diani Beach on the south coast of Kenya. What if there was no decent taxi to take me to town from the airport? What if my luggage didn’t arrive? Of course, everything turned out fine. My backpack was there, I found a taxi and got to the hotel safely.
