These are the newsletters I wrote when I was travelling around the world in 2000-2001. My travels led me from Egypt, through Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, to India; from there to Thailand, Cambodia, again Thailand and peninsular Malaysia. Next I went to Sumatra, Java, worked as a tour guide in Japan, went back to Java and Bali, then continued towards ‘downunder’ Oz, worked there for a while, and came via the USA back to Amsterdam 366 days after leaving.
